HAIX has seen growth, innovation and collaboration in 2024. As we look back on the milestones we have achieved, we want to thank our loyal customers, dedicated team, and supportive partners who made it all possible.
New Boots!
HAIX launched three new boots in 2024. Let’s say that again ‐ Three New Boots!
In January HAIX launched the Fire Hunter® Pro. This durable, leather, structural fire boot is loaded with features including being lighter than comparable rubber boots, providing a comfortable athletic fit and better protection from slips and falls with our proprietary anti-slip sole. The Fire Hunter Pro is equipped with many of the same features found in our other structural fire boots. Our durable bullhide leather is breathable, but fully waterproof and protects from hazardous fluids thanks to a GORE-TEX® CROSSTECH® liner. We added our popular athletic sole and composite safety toe, also found on the Fire Eagle® Air and Fire Eagle® Xtreme, to keep the boot light and responsive. It’s also EH rated up to 18,000v for added protection. Inside, we equipped the Fire Hunter Pro with our ankle flex feature for a more secure fit and a washable comfort insole for a great feel right out of the box. Other thoughtful features include large pull straps, integrated boot jack and a durable profiled rubber toe cap.
In the summer HAIX launched the Trooper GTX Side Zip and the Black Eagle® Athletic 2.1 V GTX Mid Coyote.
The Trooper GTX Side Zip is perfect for any law enforcement officer and for anyone wanting a tactical look to wear on or off the job with a polishable leather toe that will pass the strictest uniform requirements. Designed with smooth, durable, bullhide leather and an abrasion resistant textile, these boots are lightweight and have an unbelievable level of breathability. Premium European leather includes Sun Reflect technology keeping the boot and your feet cool in direct sunlight. Inside, the Trooper features a GORE-TEX® CROSSTECH® inner liner for waterproof capabilities, while also protecting feet from bloodborne pathogens and body fluids. Then we added GORE-TEX® THERMIUM® to the toe box for warmth in the winter and coolness in the summer ‐ making this a true all-season boot. The rugged sole was designed with anti-slip protection and a built-in stone shield for the various terrains encountered throughout the day. Lastly, the name says is all ‐ the quick closing side zip makes it easy to get in and out of your boot. Adjust the lacing, secure it, and forget it. Enjoy that fit all day, every day. Slip on, zip up, and go.
The Black Eagle® Athletic 2.1 V GTX Mid Coyote is ideal for search and rescue, active military, and specialty law enforcement teams. The Black Eagle line of boots incorporates athletic running shoe technology ‐ lightweight and comfortable with a durable rubber sole that is cold insulating and heat-resistant, non-marking, self-cleaning, and resistant to fuel and oil with abrasion resistance. With sueded leather and textile, the Coyote has a high level of breathability, meaning your feet stay at a comfortable temperature. We also gave it a durable rubber toe bumper for extra abrasion resistance. What’s inside the Coyote? An inner liner for superior breathability and waterproof technology from our friends at GORE-TEX®. The built-in HAIX Climate System keeps your feet dry and comfortable throughout the day as each step creates a “pumping action,” that drives hot moisture out of the boot and draws in cooler, dry air. You must try on a pair of our boots featuring the HAIX Climate System! Along with the Smart Lacing system, the laces stay locked in position all day so you can focus on your work and not your boots. In case you did not know, the entire Black Eagle® Athletic line is eligible for the Black Eagle® 2-year warranty; double the duration of our standard 1-year warranty.
HAIX had Fun and Met Many Friends in 2024
HAIX traveled to many trade shows, conferences, and challenge competitions in 2024 in the United States and Canada. We love meeting new fans and learning what they love about our boots as well as seeing our old friends and hearing their HAIX boot stories.
HAIX sponsored the 2024 FireFit Canadian Nationals and World Championships in Kamloops, BC where firefighters from all over the world competed. This year’s competitors set new world records showcasing their dedicated efforts in this challenging sport. HAIX supported the Southeast Regional Firefighter Challenge Classic, held right here in Lexington, KY. This was one of five regional competitions where firefighters from around the world competed to be the best and advance to the U.S. National Firefighter Challenge followed by the World’s Firefighter Challenge. We congratulate all participants on their strong performances and look forward to cheering on the competitors in 2025.
